When I think about mobile broadband, I automatically think of Vodafone, O2, T-Mobile, and to some extent, Virgin. To be honest I seem to overlook the Three network and today they announced industry leading consumer satisfaction results.

I’ve always been a fan of Vodafone for mobile broadband, mainly because I’ve been able to get some sort of 3G signal, in some of the rural places I’ve been to on holiday. Admittedly sometimes the Vodafone 3G signal is pretty weak in some far flung places and I then have to struggle with GPRS.

So Ok, Three came top in the YouGov customer survey for customer satisfaction and a slew of other consumer orientated criteria, which is great, but what did surprise me was the news that they are now have the biggest 3G network in the UK – covering 95% of the population, they said.

Three pricing is pretty good, in my opinion, and T-Mobile seems reasonable too, so if they now have the biggest network coverage then I need to pay the Three products more attention.

I like reasonable prices and good network coverage when I’m out and about using mobile broadband, so sorry Three, I shouldn’t have overlooked you before and I sure won’t in the future!
